Our
Story

Cannabis has been part of my life since high school. As a teenager dealing with anxiety and severe stomach issues, it was the only thing that brought real relief. Long before I ever considered growing it, cannabis showed me its power as medicine.
At eighteen, I was charged with possession, and a year later that became a cannabis felony, something that followed me for years and shaped nearly every opportunity in my life. Despite that, I built a career, kept moving forward, and never lost the belief that I was meant to work with this plant. Recently, I finally had my record expunged. Through every setback, cannabis remained part of my story and my purpose.
In 2021, my mom, Rory was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given six months to live. After beating cancer twice before, she chose not to pursue treatment again. She was tired of fighting and didn’t want to put her body through chemo or pharmaceuticals for a third time.
During her illness, she took Rick Simpson Oil capsules, which dramatically improved her quality of life. Cannabis helped her eat, eased her pain, and allowed her to spend her final months with comfort and dignity. We lost her on July 11th, 2021.
That experience changed everything. The same year, my family and I moved to Maine and began building Rory Farms in my mom’s honor. What started as grief became a mission.
I believe deeply in cannabis, in its medical benefits, and in the people who rely on it. Patients deserve products grown with intention, integrity, and care. Products that are organically cultivated, thoughtfully processed, and never rushed. Every step we take reflects that belief, because this plant matters and the people using it matter even more.
At Rory Farms, we don’t just grow cannabis. We grow it with purpose. If you’re looking for clean, honest medicine made with love and respect, we invite you to experience the difference for yourself.
